The Orlando Magicians Who Fooled Penn & Teller Can Fool You, Too

On the hit CW TV show, Penn & Teller: Fool Us, magicians from all over the world showcase their most impressive tricks in an attempt to "fool" the legendary duo of Penn & Teller. It’s not an easy feat, as Penn & Teller are known for their incredible magical abilities and their love of exposing fraudulent tricks.

However, two Orlando magicians have managed to accomplish the impossible and win the coveted Fool Us trophy: Kostya Kimlat and Keith Kong.

Kostya Kimlat’s “Infuriating” Win

Kostya Kimlat wowed audiences with his incredible card trick, which left Penn & Teller completely stumped. As an experienced card magician, Kostya is known for his quick hands and seemingly impossible feats of sleight of hand. In this particular trick, Kostya shuffled a deck of cards face-up and face-down, and then made all of the cards instantly face the same direction, except for Penn & Teller’s selected cards. Penn feigned outrage when he couldn’t figure out how the trick was done, wielding a stool over Kostya’s head and throwing cards in his face. Teller, for his typically silent part, giggled with delight.

Keith Kong’s Musical Mentalism

Keith Kong, on the other hand, impressed with a mentalism trick that left Penn & Teller with no explanation. As a mentalist, Keith is skilled in the art of theatrically reading minds and predicting thoughts. Keith correctly predicted which song host Alyson Hannigan would select, as revealed by a spliced-together rendition of that song by Penn himself—leaving them speechless.

Jimmy’s Individual Successes

In addition to Kostya Kimlat and Keith Kong, another Orlando magician worthy of mention is Jimmy Ichihana. Jimmy made two appearances on Fool Us, demonstrating his incredible sleight-of-hand techniques and impressing Penn & Teller with his skills. And while he didn’t win the trophy, Jimmy fooled Penn with some of his moves, and he fooled Teller with others—he was just unable to fool both Penn & Teller at the same time. Jimmy’s ability to fool them individually showcases his impressive talent and dedication to incredible technique.

These three Orlando magicians have truly made a name for themselves by outsmarting the legendary Penn & Teller on their own show. It’s a testament to their skill and dedication to the art of magic, and we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us next.
